Sudie was a wonderful person. She was always smiling and brought much joy to all she met. She touched many lives in a positive way both as a 4-H and Family & Consumer Science Agent, while employed by UT Extension Service. I really enjoyed the times we worked together. She was great both spiritually and morally. A job well done on this Earth!! Rest In Peace my Sister. You will be greatly missed!!!

  11. To my friend Sudie:
When I received word that you had packed your bags 💼 and went to be with the Lord, I said to myself “My friend was ready”. I know humanly we were surprised 😮 but my friend was ready. In other words Sudie knew the Lord and the Lord knew Sudie. She had a personal relationship with GOD. Another reason I knew she was ready was because; when Sudie would travel 🧳 with my Mom and I to the University of Cincinnati to see my son play football; we would leave in the weeee hours of the morning for the road trip. Whenever we arrived at Sudie’s home “she was ready” luggage packed with a smile on her face. I love you my friend my sister…and I know when GOD came …you were ready, packed and smiling! God bless the family and friends!

  15. “Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal.” Dr. Edwin & LaToya, Mr. Eddie and family thank you for sharing Mrs. Sudie with us. She was real, she was personable and loved genuinely. She was truly a steward of life and the word of God. Praying for a continued peace that surpasses all of your understanding during this new season in your lives.

  17. Sudie was my 4-H agent from Grade 4 through Grade 12. Her influence on my life cannot be measured. I am so grateful for her encouragement, her discipline (there was no nonsense with Sudie), and her love. I would not be where I am today without the ‘caring adults’ in my life who taught me that I have value, that I am important, and that I can do anything if I work hard at it. As I get older, most of these amazing women have transitioned. While I miss them all, deeply, they are always present in my heart. My life, and the people that I now mentor, are their legacies. My deepest condolences to her family.

  18. My sympathy and prayers to Eddie, Edwin and the family. Met and worked with Sudie many years and learned quickly that she was a very dedicated and professional 4-H agent and individual. She will be missed.
