Public viewing to be held Friday, May 27, 2022, 12:00 P.M.- 3:00 P.M at Barlow Funeral Home, 205 North Main Street Covington TN, 38019 and 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. at New Beginning Church, 8054 Nelson Rd, Millington, TN 38053. Funeral service will be Saturday, May 28, 2022, 11:00 A.M. at St. John Missionary Baptist Church – Atoka, 1998 Atoka Idaville Road Atoka, TN 38004. Interment immediately following at St. John Missionary Baptist Church – Atoka Cemetery.
In accordance with local, state and federal guidelines, face masks/coverings are HIGHLY recommended.
From his niece Stacey Wilson,we called him uncle Jimmy was a loving and kind man. I remember when I was about 5 I was down Madea’s house and I said Uncle Jimmy I’m hungry and what he did has stuck in my mind for 48 years he fixed me the biggest and thickest bologna sandwich I’ve ever had,Uncle I will miss making you laugh and smile you will be greatly missed one more thing I remember when Madea had hogs in the back yard and Jimmy got dragged a little by one he was just hollaring thank God he didn’t get hurt but it was funny

Jimmy and I grew up together, played together, fought with each other and for each other. As we grew older we even worked together as teenagers. We share a distant biological connection and we have always acted and felt like like family. Jimmy was a hard worker and sharp dresser just an all around good guy. I pray God’s Grace and strength during your period of bereavement .
