Mrs. Lillian Bateman of Atoka, TN , transitioned Friday, June 17, 2022. Public visitation to be held Saturday, June 25, 2022, 9:00 A.M.- 10:59 A.M. at Great Expectations Church of God in Christ, 2053 Highway 51 South, Covington, TN 38019. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 A.M. Internment to be held at the West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 4000 Forest Hill Irene Road, Memphis, TN 38125.
In accordance with local, state and federal guidelines, face masks/coverings are HIGHLY recommended. Social Distancing will be required.

Auntie I am going to miss but I thank God for sharing you with me. I am going to miss your beautiful smile and the wonderful family time we had together. I will always love you.

Mother Lillian Bateman’s smile,laughter,love and kindness will be truly be missed. Thank God for her life and the memories that we will cherish. Elder Bateman and family we love you and thank God for sharing such a wonderful Wife, Mother, Grandmother and so much more. Continue to lean on His (God’s) everlasting Arms, knowing He will see you through this and will continue to carry you through in those times to come. We Love you all and are praying for you all.
Missionary Bateman will be forever missed and in my heart. She was always caring and kind to me and my daughter. Never had an issue letting me know when I was wrong to keep me online with Christ. She welcomed me in her home and made me feel like family. My heart is heavy today. My condolences to the family and praying for your strength.
