  7. Sherry and I worked side by side for many years in Ripley and Covington Careers Centers. She was so kind to me when I lost my one and only sister just days after I attended her and Victors wedding. It was so beautiful and so much done by her own hands and precious ideas she wanted in the wedding. She would come in the office so excited to show me her new colors and decorations for the very special items she got at her lunch hour. We would share and I so enjoyed being a part of the most joyous day of her life to marry her soul mate that she waited on God to give her. When she said his name the love was in her voice. When she cared about you she cared and defended you like only she could do.

  8. TO the Johnson and Dowell family sending my sincere condolences regarding the loss of your loved one. Sadden to hear the news, but you just remember God is merciful and he will give you all, the strength to get through this season of your life. His word says Bless those that moan for God will give you comfort.

    Blessings and Love your cousin
    Alma Stanford

  14. Sherry was a kind and caring person. Her eyes tell her story. She and my sister were friends during their grade school years. I’ve always admired her sweetness and authenticity. May the words at Jeremiah 29:11, 12, bring comfort to the family in times ahead as they cherish her memory.
Sending love, prayers, and deepest sympathy to all who knew and love her.

  15. Miss Sherry did all of the decorations my father, Dr. Jesse Cannon’s 60th birthday party before he passed. Years later, she & I worked together at the American Job Center in Ripley, TN. My mom, Maurine Cannon, has known Miss Sherry for years as they used to cut up together at the beauty shop. πŸ™‚ She will be missed dearly for her kindness, jazzy style with those high stilettos, flawless makeup, creativity with decor, constant willingness to help others, and her joyful spirit that was as bright as a morning sunrise. We offer prayers to her family for comfort & strength during this time of tragic loss. βœοΈπŸ™πŸΎπŸ’œ
